Biography
Xiangrui Zeng (曾祥瑞) is a professor in the School of Mechanical Science and Engineering of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, Hubei, China. He received his B.S. degree in Vehicle Engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2009, his M.S. degree in Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China in 2012, and his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio USA in 2016. From 2016 to 2019, he worked as a data scientist in Smart Mobility Analytics at Ford Motor Company, Dearborn, Michigan, USA. From 2020 to 2021, he was a tenure-track assistant professor in the Robotics Engineering Department and Mechanical Engineering Department at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, Massachusetts, USA. His research interests cover various topics in modeling, analysis, estimation, and control of connected and automated vehicles, smart mobility systems, and robot systems.
